NFCS parents are committed, engaged, and involved in the entire learning process and educational environment. From participating in strategic planning, joining the Home & School Association, and volunteering at events, field trips, and in the classroom, our parents are an integral piece of their child’s academic career at New Foundations.
Our high level of parent involvement shows not only investment in their own child, but in the entire community, that they support and believe in the mission of our school. This collaboration and connection ensures we are all embodying the importance of caring, respect, and responsibility.
The Home & School Association brings parents and staff together to provide fundraising, support, and special programs for the students and families of NFCS. Board and membership is comprised of NFCS parents, and meetings are held bi-monthly. The Home & School Association provides opportunities for volunteering and coordinates fundraising efforts for the school. These funds are used to support classroom activities and school-wide events.

All new New Foundations Charter School Uniforms can be purchased at DiGulios on Frankford Ave.
Gently used uniform pieces are available from our "Uniform Closet" for a deep discount. Please contact the corresponding building's Administrative Assistant for more information. All students are encouraged to donate any gently used uniform pieces they no longer wear to our “uniform closet” to support other families.
During remote learning, all students can wear any NFCS shirt, including spirit gear! You can purchase spirit gear through our Sideline Store.
Meal Pickup During Remote Learning
Pre-packaged breakfast and lunch will be offered for takeaway on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12-4pm at the High School Gym beginning on Tuesday, September 8th. This service will be offered through Maschio's, the same company that provides our food service on campus during the school year.
Meal cost will be based on free or reduced lunch status. Families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch can purchase meals at full price. A student ID card or ID number, which can be found next to the student’s name in PowerSchool, is required to pick up meals. Parents and/or students are able to pick up meals for a few days, or for the entire week for every New Foundations child in their household. Families are also able to pick up meals for other families, as long as they can provide those student(s)'s ID numbers. Please remember to wear a mask and maintain social distance when on campus.
For those families who will need to provide payment, payments will be accepted on-site or online at scholarconnect.com. For questions regarding student food balances, please contact Amber Dietrich for K-8 at adietrich@newfoundations.org and Geri Allmond for HS at gallmond@newfoundations.org.
Adding Money to your Meal Account

Food Allergy Information
Here at New Foundations Charter School we strive for the safest environment for all students. In order to do that we must strictly adhere to being a PEANUT/NUT FREE SCHOOL. No student or staff member in grades K-12 should ever bring peanuts/nuts or peanut/nut containing items into either school building. Learn more about Maschio's dietary needs information.
Free & Reduced Priced Meals
New Foundations participates in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food & Nutrition. Depending on your family income, students may be entitled to free or reduced priced school meals. We encourage all families to apply. To apply, please complete the PA Free & Reduced Lunch Application and return it to Mrs. Amy O'Neill at aoneill@newfoundations.org.
