Foundations in the Classroom

Where rigor, focus, & understanding come to life

The classroom is an academic sanctuary characterized by individuals who are passionate about learning, dedicated to problem solving, and committed to the social and emotional wellbeing of others. Regardless of what a classroom may look like from day to day, at New Foundations it will always be a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where students have access to resources to help enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to grow as independent and informed learners.

Developing a love for lifelong learning

Since 2000, our curriculums have been student focused, solutions oriented, and geared toward developing a love of learning. Rooted in academic standards, our teachers are given complete autonomy to create lesson plans and educational experiences which enhance a child’s excitement and curiosity. The classroom cultivates a framework for academic zeal.

A caring environment

Developing well rounded children begins with the heart. We all learn differently and we all have different life journeys. Our approach to education is not a one-size-fits-all, but is individualized and hands-on. Developing the social and emotional wellbeing of a child is equally as important as developing academic understanding and knowledge.

Leadership beyond the classroom

Being a leader encompasses many attributes including confidence, competence, responsibility, and reliability. Our classrooms encourage students to work with one another to accomplish goals, build relationships, and deepen their understanding of the world around them. With the guidance of dedicated teachers and mentors, the classroom connects cultural and professional experience with academic rigor.
